Queenstown Bowl

IMG_0390
IMG_0349 copy

There is an old building near where I live. Every time I walk pass, I will imagine it how it was like during it's former glory. Queenstown Bowl was opened during the late 70s. It was the favorite place to be during it's heyday, comprising of a cinema, bowling centre, restaurant, and cafes. It was closed in the 90s due to the changes of taste for movie goers. The current condition of it saddened me to see this architecture gem goes to rot. I hope they will conserved it and bring it back to it's former glory. I aways imagined how the people will dress up in the 70s when they hit the bowling alley. This is my fashion take and tribute to the Queenstown Bowl.

Hmm, I guess this what was left of the ticketing booth.

Hi! I feel the same way when I see a building in ruins, I always try to image what it looked like when new, it saddens me a bit, too.
Great outfit, it's so nice that you adjusted it to the 70ies theme :)
